Kathy Sullivan has dedicated most every day to drawing and it has proven to help her discover a particular style. "I am drawn to faces primarily, be it human or animal. I always begin with the eyes, they are my favorite part of the face. For me it brings in the life." says Kathy.
To keep herself challenged she also draws detailed works of inanimate objects such as cars, homes, and even food!
Kathy begins her process with reference images, preferably digital and her medium is typically pencil and colored pencils.
"Recently I have discovered tan paper and find that I prefer the finished look compared to the white paper I’ve been used to."
A native of Massachusetts, Kathy has resided in Goffstown, NH for the past 20 years with her husband Rick, daughter Devan, granddaughter Skylar and son Ricky.
